The journey takes around 4-5 hours depending on the route and stops. Ferry/Boat from Split to Dubrovnik
If you prefer a scenic route, you can take a ferry or catamaran from Split to Dubrovnik or other way around. Catamarans/ferries are also a great way to go island hopping and do, for example: Split –Hvar island (spend a day) –Korcula island (spend a day) – Mljet island (spend a day) – Dubrovnik. It takes about 5 hours to reach Dubrovnik from Split, since every catamaran makes additional stops on islands. Driving from Dubrovnik to Split by rented car
Renting a car is also an option if you prefer the flexibility of driving yourself. The journey takes around 3 hours partly through A1 highway (tolls of 7 EUR for car applied) or 4-4,5 hours through the D8 Adriatic Coastal road depending on traffic and road conditions. The D8 route offers beautiful coastal scenery.

Largest parking in Dubrovnik downtown center costs 2 EUR per hour (2,5 EUR in July and August) and 20 EUR for daily ticket in 2024. It is 23 min walk from Dubrovnik Old Town, or just 6 min by public bus number 6, 1a, 1b ( public bus station in front, there are buses every 10 min to the Old Town and back –bus ticket can be purchased in the bus and costs 2 EUR per person) PARKING i TO Dubrovnik, Ivana Matijasevica Street, Dubrovnik – offers daily parking at 30 EUR per day, and hourly parking 3 EUR per hour in 2024. –located 12 min walk from Old Town

Flight from Dubrovnik to split
