DAY 1

Our experienced driver/guide will pick you up at your hotel/Airbnb at 06:00 AM for our 2-day tour. We will be driving along the Croatian Coast and then inland following the river Neretva to the town of Mostar (ETA around 08:30).

After breakfast and coffee, we will explore the city of Mostar
Mostar sites include: 16ct Ottoman Turkish Center with stunning horse-shoe Old Bridge, Bazaar Street, Koski Beg Mosque, Crooked Bridge, Tabhana mosque, 16ct, Watchtower.

We continue from Mostar at 09:45, driving along the Neretva river through the towns of Jablanica, Konjic and across the Ivan pass to the valley of Sarajevo

Upon arrival in Sarajevo, we will check into our accommodation, and we suggest a quick lunch in one of Sarajevo’s Old Town restaurants.

Your local licensed guide will pick you up at your accommodation for a private walking tour of Sarajevo where he/she will explain the history of Sarajevo and show you all the major sites
The rest of the afternoon is on you to explore.

Our suggestions for late afternoon/evening:

  • Take the cable car to Trebevic mountain for great views of the whole Sarajevo valley and visit the 1984 Olympics bobsleigh track
  • Walk up the Pasha’s Hill passing Zuta Tabija (Yellow Fort) and Crvena Tabija (Red Fort). Stop at Vidikovac Cafe for an early snack, coffee, and great cakes with spectacular views
  • Sarajevo War tunnel visit (best to visit on our way to Sarajevo, ask for details)

Dinner suggestions in Sarajevo:

  • Inat Kuca (traditional Bosnian specialties in an authentic setting with rich history)
  • Pivnica HS (19 ct. Sarajevo Beer factory restaurant – live music, local beers, relaxed atmosphere)

DAY 2

Early breakfast and 07:30 departure from Sarajevo. We will drive through the picturesque Bosnian countryside with occasional stops for coffee and toilette. We will cross into Croatia and take the highway to Split (estimated arrival at 12:00)

Upon arrival, there will be a local licensed guide waiting to take you on a private walking tour of Split Old Town (Diocletian’s Palace, Peristil, Saint Dujams church and Belltower, Old Fishmarket, Venetian Old Center).

Following the tour, there will be free time for lunch and further explorations of the city.

Our late afternoon/evening suggestions:

  • Climb the Vidilica viewpoint on Marjan Hill for great panoramic views of Split. Visiting Diocletian’s Cellars and climbing up St Dujam’s Belltower are great choices.
  • Take a stroll to Bacvice beach and join locals in a game of Picigin
    Or just sit at Riva waterfront, enjoy your coffee and watch people pass by

We will depart Split at 16:00 and drive towards Dubrovnik with occasional photo/toilet/coffee stops. Arrival to Dubrovnik is at around 19:00 and the tour ends with a drop-off at your hotel.
