Day 1
DAY 2
Our experienced driver/guide will pick you up at your hotel/Airbnb at 06:00AM for this amazing 2-day tour.
We will continue north of Dubrovnik passing the villages of Trebinje, Bileca, Gacko and enjoying the scenic views. The first stop will be the Sutjeska WW2 Memorial Site, commemorating the death of over 7500 fallen anti-fascist fighters killed in the Nazi Swartz Offensive.
We will visit a massive WW2 monument towering over the whole valley. After breakfast in Sutjeska, we will continue to Sarajevo.
Around 11:30 we will arrive at the Tunnel of Hope (Sarajevo War tunnel) site, where a 900 m tunnel was built to bring food and medical supplies to the city under an almost 4-year siege (1992-1995). You will see video presentations of the War events and visit the first part of the tunnel – a highly interesting and emotional site.
After the tunnel, we will continue the drive to the center of Sarajevo.
Upon arrival to Sarajevo, you will check into your accommodation, and we suggest a quick lunch in one of Sarajevo’s Old Town restaurants.
Your local licensed guide will pick you up at your accommodation for a private walking tour of Sarajevo where he/she will explain the history of Sarajevo and show you all major sights.
The rest of the afternoon is on you to explore.
