Our driver Kristina called us in advance advising of arrival time. She was professional throughout but conversation was so easy made the day so enjoyable. Mostar is a not to

be missed destination if you have any interest in the history of this region . Kristina gave us recommendations where to go and best places to eat in our free time . Would certainly recommend Doria Tours and especially Kristina for the way she arranged the day and the flexibility with times at the various locations we visited.

We took both the Montenegro Day Trip from Dubrovnik, and the Peljesac Wine Tour. Miho was our guide for both trips, and both trips were excellent. For Montenegro, Recommend taking the extra stop to Our Lady of the Rocks, and definitely walk the city wall from Kotor Old Town...

It is steep in parts but absolutely worth the views. On our wine tour we visited the Trsteno botanical garden, and got a little lost trying to find the harbor for our pick up. Would recommend confirming directions first or returning to the entrance for pick up. Our favorite stop on this tour was Vina Anticevic, where we were lucky enough to have the wine maker share the wines and their stories.

his was a great day trip to some beautiful places in Bosnia and Herzegovina! Unfortunately I did not catch the name of our guide, but he was nonetheless amazing. He had some great information about the places we went to, and provided insight into the life around the war for independence

there. Our group also wanted to make a stop in Medugorje, and he was very accommodating for this (we went there instead of Blagaj). We never felt rushed at each stop and were able to see most everything we wanted. He recommended a local restaurant in Mostar that was delicious! I wish we had had more time to explore this beautiful country, but if you only have a day to see it, this is an ideal trip!

We had such a great time exploring Kotor Bay from Dubrovnik! Josip was our guide, and he had so many interesting stories to tell about the locations. Each stop was beautiful and we were able to get some delicious food. I would have loved

to have more time at each stop, but getting to see so much in one day was great. We also mentioned how we hadn't gotten to go up to the top of Mount Srd, overlooking Dubrovnik. On our way home, Josip took us out of his way to get us up there for one last stop at the end of our trip! If you only have a short time to see the area, this is the perfect trip to see some of Montenegro.

Our trip with Mato was great! Travelling by car allowed us to see the beautiful landscapes of Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia. This included the stunning scenery of Kotor Bay. It was fascinating to see the different cultures and hear from Mato about the history of the region.

Amazing day trip to Montenegro with a return to Dubrovnik via Bosnia. Filip was a fantastic guide and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see some unique views. I did the Montenegro & Bosnia tour with Filip in September 2023 and it was an amazing day. Absolutely amazing sights, wonderful stops for coffee and for lunch. Filip is extremely knowledgeable and if you have the chance to book with him, please do! You won’t regret it!

We did 2 tours with this company, the dubrovnik > sarajevo > mostar trip, and the bosnia > montenegro trip. both were excellent and truly eye opening. Booking and communication over email was easy,

and pickups were confirmed the day before. After a deposit, they only accept cash, so plan accordingly. The drivers were both great and were very professional. The answered so many questions, and gave us a lot of insight into the local culture and history. would definitely recommend this company. Notes on the sarajevo/mostar trip: - this is a long day, be well rested and prepared, started at 5:30am and ended at 8:00pm. thankfully the border crossing was quick and followed by a bakery pit stop then a cafe pit stop with an amazing view. - sarajevo is awesome and definitely the star of the show!! the included walking tour was great (sampled some amazing baklava, and saw some traditional live craft-making). we then had about 1.5 hours to piddle around old town and eat. wish we had more time here, lots to see and explore. vendors seemed very nice and relaxed. lots of shops with a nice atmosphere. shops accept euros and visit return either bosnian marks or euros. some accepted credit card. - mostar gave us mixed feelings, it was nice to see and walk through for a few minutes but everything was over priced, vendors were all on edge, and it was over crowded. we saw a stolen purse on the side of the road, be on alert. the views from the bridge are fantastic. a local on the bridge as taking spectator money to see his associate jump off the bridge. we walked down to the river to get a nice view of the bridge. i think in total we spent 30 minutes and needed to escape the heat and the smoke and crowds. there is one bathroom you could use for 50 cents deeper into town. Notes on the bosnia > montenegro trip - Trebinje is a really nice town, with 2 amazing orthodox churches! the one in town looked a lot nicer than the one on the hill. - perast was lovely to walk through for 15 mins; there was a shop which let us use their bathroom after a purchase. we arranged our own boat ride to the lady of the rock church (we took a bigger boat which left every 10mins and cost 10euro round trip for 2; some locals in small boats were offering 5 per person for 1 way) the church itself was anything but spiritual: too crowded/hot/cigarette smoke. one way entry/exit and long slow lines to move. not worth entering at all. they ask for 2 euros to enter. the ride itself was worth it for the views. the island felt like a hellish tourist trap. - port of montenegro was very scenic and we walked along it for a while and had an amazing local lunch here with our driver. - bay of kotor is surreal and the star of the show, amazing vistas - kotor old town was nice and you can get a good idea of it in a couple hours (we were dropped off there for the night). the included walking tour was a little rushed because we hit some traffic driving into old town; but it was good none the less.

We had a great day with Baldo. Learned a lot about the history of the area and got some great insight into what it was like growing up and living in Dubrovnik. Felt like we were in good hands during the trip. We really enjoyed our day trip

to Montenegro and would definitely recommend it if you have the time. The one thing that I'd recommend is to check to see is if there is a cruise ship docking in Kotor the day you're planning on going and if possible, try to get there as early as possible before the ship arrives. It can get very crowded in town when a cruise ship is there.

This was my first time booking a private tour and my driver/guide Filip was amazing. He picked me up on time and stopped at all the good scenic spots along the way so that I could take good photos. Filip was incredibly knowledgeable,

not just about Dubrovnik and Montenegro, but also knew a lot about the entire Dalmatian area; the history, geography, people, food and culture. He made sure I had enough time at all the stops and took me to a hidden gem of a restaurant for lunch. I had a great time, highly recommend!

This was an awesome tour. Our driver, Miho, grew up in the region and gave us such good and interesting information about the countries and their history. Since it was early in the day, Miho offered to drive us by a cafe so that we could grab a quick breakfast, as our apartment wasn’t near any convenient

spot to eat. Very professional, kind, personable, and funny. If he should ever find himself in our area of the world, I would absolutely let him stay in our home. The wine tour itself was great. 3 very different wineries. All interesting and unique from each other. Quality wines, quality hospitality.

I recommend this day trip. You really get to experience the beautiful Bay of Kotor. Fillip was our guide. He took us to some idyllic spots and we never had to deal with crowds. I loved the boat trip at Perast. Plenty of time to see all of Kotor City. We got to experience the Black Mountains and the Bay of Kotor from some spectacular viewpoints. The border crossing was easy thanks to Fillip’ s relationship with the officials. Great day.

We just came from a tour of Croatia with Trafalgar where our tour guide clearly explained the Yugoslav Wars. We thought the Mostar and Herzegovina/Medjugorje tour with Doria Ltd. will complement the Croatian trip well. That was an understatement. Miho, our tour guide to Mostar, turned out to be a member of the Special Forces who fought to get 2/3 of Croatia back from Serbia in just 4 days! How the Croats did that is being studied in top military schools worldwide! His stories made all the

history I learned come alive! Apart from being precise and on time, Miho also took care of us. When I text him that we are on our way to the van/meeting point earlier than usual, he'd go to the van ahead of us to turn the air condition on. Thank you Miho for your service and for showing us the best of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina!

Excellent from the start. Miho, our guide, sent clear instructions on when and where to meet. He was knowledgeable, thoughtful and affable. Beautiful drive to Ston where we met the oyster farmer. He took the three of us on his small boat

to one of his farms, explaining how the oysters are cultivated. The oysters were delicious topped with lemon from his own groves and paired with home grown white wine. Then onto a small family run vineyard where we were guided through tasting liquors, red and white wine, and olive oil. A short visit to Ston which can be extended and an amazing sunset on the way back. It’s a brilliant half day trip… book it now 👍🏻

We had an amazing final day in Croatia. Our guide and driver Miho was entertaining and informative. We began the day with an oyster farm visit complete with fresh oysters, home grown

lemons and home made wine. Not our usual fare for brunch but so delicious and worth the drive. We then headed to two wineries where we were able to experience unique wines and liqueurs while learning about Croatian viticulture. Our final stop at the olive press made the day complete. Fresh lunch from the garden was complemented perfectly with the olive oil. We would highly recommend this tour if you enjoy good food and good company.

An excellent and carefully-planned tour. Mato was highly informative and was very conscious of avoiding long border-crossing queues wherever possible by taking lesser-used, if longer, routes on occasions. in order to successfully avoid them.

I would strongly suggest taking a car-based tour like this one rather than a bus-based tour, as the amount of time wasted on an already-long tour by having to process 40 passports at the border is huge. So I can highly recommend this tour and Mato as an excellent, considerate and very knowledgable tour guide and driver. Thank Mato.

We had an amazing time with Miho on our tour. He did a great job explaining what we were seeing the whole time and answering our questions. He shared a lot of his personal stories and made the whole day enjoyable.

We especially loved the lunch stop in Bosnia - that food was absolutely amazing and he helped us order and recommended great things to try. Really a great experience and we recommend it to anyone wanting to explore a bit out of Dubrovnik while you are visiting!

Excellent private trip..our guide and driver Filip was amazing and I highly recommend him. Filip was very knowledgeable and the conversation was great. Border crossing Croatia-Montenegro

and back was a breeze in peak season. We got lucky probably, but the lines on the other side did not look that long either. The car was spacious and clean. Coordination with the owner Josip over emails was also easy prior to the trip. All in all this beats going on a bus with a larger group of people in this hot July weather!!

What a wonderful experience! It may seem like a long day trip, but every part of it was enjoyable and well thought out/planned that the timing wasn’t ever an inconvenience. Josip was our

driver for the day…he was very easy going and accommodating. At points on the trip, he asked if we had any preferences on what we wanted to do so it didn’t feel like we were rushing through the everything. There was plenty of down time so you could wander around and enjoy the sites. Also, everything went really smoothly for us when crossing country borders. Josip warned that at certain times, there could be long delays, but I guess we lucked out on that day. I would highly recommend this experience and ask for Josip 😊

We had a great all-day experience on this tour. Our guide, Mijo, was outstanding. His English was exceptional and the history he shared, both personal and about the countries was intriguing. We stopped at three wineries and the last one was so great we even purchased wine and olive oil despite not wanting to check our luggage. A MUST-DO!

Fantastic experience all around. Our tour guide Jakob was beyond incredible and would highly recommend him. First, we toured the town Ston and got a coffee. Then, Jakob drove us up the peninsula and the views were breathtaking. We stopped at three different wineries with 3 completely different feels. All of the wine was fantastic! Our favorite was Antičević family winery bc our host was the cutest lady I’ve ever met in my life.

She let us try every single wine from the tank and just chatted with our group about life, family, etc. for the hour. At the second stop, we were provided with a snack (cheese and olives) which was delicious! On the ride home, we chatted with Jakob and enjoyed the spectacular views. Jakob was so nice and we really enjoyed his conversation! He was also knowledgeable about all sorts of topics so conversation was flowing! Overall, 10/10 experience!

We went on a day trip from Dubrovnik to Montenegro with Filip and he is an amazing private tour guide. From the minute he picked us up, he had a spectacular day planned out—from gorgeous views, amazing photography skills of us,

to incredible restaurants and local tips. He also made sure the car was always read and had the A/C on which was lovely given the extreme heat. We learned SO much from him and fell in love with every spot we saw. The lunch place he took us to was one of the most memorable and gorgeous places we have ever visited.

region. It was such an amazing day to go from Dubrovnik, and all the stops along the way. Filip knew the places to stop for pictures, and coffee, a wonderful amazing almond cake, to ana aiming hidden gem of a restaurant. We are glad we had the opportunity to do this day tour to Montenegro.

The trip we did was amazing, we visited Persat had coffee and almond cake, then went to Kotor wich was really beautiful. Filip our driver a real expert on all topics, very safe drive and very charm. Definitely reccomend to do this if staying in Dubrovnik.

It was a wonderful day touring around with Filip. We learned so much about the history and culture of the countries, and everything we heard was told with passion and humor.

The day was fun and relaxing and we had time to walk and take great pictures along the way. We loved stopping and seeing the local spots and the hike in Kotor. Kotor is a little more "touristy"....but still well worth the visit.

This full day oyster and winery tour was the highlight of our trip!! Our driver, Mato, was so knowledgable about the country and every area we went to. The oyster tasting in Ston is a MUST DO here! It is such a unique experience, and we've never enjoyed such fresh oysters, topped off with champagne

on the boat! The two wineries we visited were a great choice, a commercial one followed by a smaller family winery. Experiences at both were unique and amazing....we only wish we had even more time! We left something in Mato's car when he dropped us off, and after a quick email, he turned around and came right back to give it to us...amazing service! Can't recommend this company enough, and Mato in particular!!

Professional and engaging from start to finish. The company allowed us to use this tour as transportation to our next destination as well. Our guide, Miho,

was exceptional telling us the rich history of the area, answering questions we had, explaining what to expect as we crossed borders, stopping for photo opportunities, driving with our safety in mind, showing us the best shops for pastries and coffee, consulting us on our preferences for tour destinations, and waiting until our next accommodation host was ready for us. The day went by so fast and we saw so much. We highly recommend both Miho and Doria Tours Dubrovnik. We wish we could have Milo as our guide on every trip.

My partner and I booked a Private Day tour to Montengro departing from Dubrovnik - Our driver/guide - Mladen was wonderful - he was on time, nice confirmatable car and he was very freindly and knowledgable on both Croatia and Montenegro - we picked up many facts that we did not know before about the region and learned some history too. The tour was great, and flexible based on what we wanted to do - if we wanted more time in one place and less in another that wasn't an issue at all, Mladen was very accommodating. The towns of Perast and Kotor were just stunning and we made a stop in a little town called Herceg Novi and had free time to enjoy a coffee

in the old town square in addition Mladen knew all the good spots to stop for a beautiful photo along the way. Overll it was a beautiful and relaxing day seeing the sights along the coast of Montenegro. Doria tours was wonderful to deal with, quick response times and they provided detailed information about the tour as well as maps and photos for the meeting point in Dubrovnik. I would not hestitate to use their services again.

Had an absolutely fantastic day. Certainly, Montenegro is a gem that should be on everyone's itinerary. The scenery around the Bay of Kotor is spectacular, and visits to Perast and Kotor Old Town wonderful. The guide (Filip) was full of knowledge and memories made that will last forever.

This was an incredible tour and a very professional tour agency. I would recommend using them for your time in Dubrovnik! They picked us up at the hotel and created a memorable day for us. Our guide Ivo was fantastic and there was a new guide

learning the ropes with us that day. We were fortunate to have 2 different people to share stories with us. It was a mix of history, beautiful views and great food. It was worth every penny! We started with a quick stop in Ston and then drove to Kravice waterfalls, which was stunning. We saw so many things in a short time! Stopped in this really interesting village of Caplijina and then had the best lunch of our entire trip in Mostar! Each part of the trip, I thought that it couldn't get better and yet it did! Ivo was a fantastic guide. This country has such an interesting mix of history and cultures. We ended up taking 2 tours with Dubrovnik Day tours and getting an airport transfer, too. From Josip in the main office answering my many questions to Milli to/from the airport to the guides, using this agency was the best money I spent on our trip! I also highly recommend the private tour because it was tailored to our interests and time.

I highly recommend this private day trip! Our driver and guide, Filip, was fantastic and created the perfect day for us. The whole trip was incredibly scenic and almost unbelievably gorgeous.

This was one of two trips we took with Dubrovnik Day tours and both were fantastic. They were very different and I liked how relaxed this trip was, even though we saw so much. We stopped for cappuccino, delicious cakes and just sat and enjoyed the water and views. We ended our day with this amazing meal at a mill restaurant. I can't even describe how beautiful the whole day was. The pictures, especially from a viewpoint above Kotor were postcard perfect! My teenager loved all the cats in Kotor. I couldn't have asked for a better day! Filip is a great guide and recommended great places to eat and visit. I highly recommend using Dubrovnik Day tours and booking a private tour because you could go at your own pace. Affordable and the perfect experience!

We just returned from a full day tour of Montenegro with Filip who was both our driver and guide and had an absolutely wonderful time! You couldn’t ask for a more knowledgeable and friendly guide. He knows where to find the best views and takes great photos! He drove us to Montenegro with a

refreshment stop on the way and introduced us to Pernast cake. We also toured around Kotor with another guide, Ivica, who was just a lovely man with so much character and wonderful stories and even sang us a little song. On the way back to Dubrovnik, we stopped at a family-owned restaurant located in a picturesque, beautiful old mill for perfectly prepared seafood. We definitely felt we learned so much about Croatia and Montenegro and will go home with wonderful memories and photos, thanks to Filip!

We had limited time to visit Croatia and Montenegro. Therefore, we decided to book a private tour to Montenegro from Dubrovnik. I found the Dubronik day tour via TripAdvisor and am glad that I did. We have such a great trip and learned a lot about history and culture of the region. Our guide/driver is Filip who picked us up at our hotel. His car is very clean and comfortable. It was a rainy day, Filip brought extra umbrellas for 3 of us. He also stopped many scenic points for photo ops. He is very passionate about his job and his country and knowledgeable about the region's history. We had a great conversation during our trip. Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to visit the secret local farm for lunch... maybe next time! We visited Perast, Kotor and Budva. - tips: Wear comfy shoes if you want to climb Kotor wall for the birdeye view of Kotor and bay. Bring Euro. Montenegro only takes Euro and

local currency. They do take credit card. To climb Kotor wall, you do have to pay entrance fee about 8 Euro (cash only). Crossing the border may take a long time if you are taking tour bus. With private tour or car, the line is much shorter. It took us less than 10-15 min to get through border. I would definitely recommend this tour... it is worth every penny!

Filip was a fantastic guide, incredibly experienced, knowledgable and informative. We very much enjoyed learning about Balkan history. Our boarder crossing was very smooth because it was outside the peak season and Fillip chose a smaller and more scenic boarder crossing to avoid any big groups. Filip was also very kind in allowing to customize our trip, allowing us to spend more time in Perast, Kotor and doing a little boat tour around

the lady of the rocks. Fillip gave us great recommendations for food and restaurants and took us to some amazing photo spots. Montenegro is an incredibly scenic country, a definite must see. (day tour with Filip is a minimum, would recommend staying one night.)

We had such an amazing time with Stjepan on this tour. Not only did we get to spend time at a small family owned winery where we met the owner and tasted their grappa and wines,

but we also got to go out on an oyster boat with Mario who shucked us oysters fresh from the bay. Absolutely incredible time. And even though there is a long drive to get to the peninsula, Stjepan spent the entire time telling us about the history of the region, the people, and the culture, which kept us fascinated the entire time. Would absolutely do again.

We booked a full day private tour to Kravica & Mostar. It was a fabulous day with sun, beautiful scenery, history and the most knowledgeable guide Ivo. From the minute he picked us up he was courteous, friendly and very committed to making sure we were happy with our trip. We are very interested in learning about the local culture and history, Ivo was a fantastic source of information. We visited Pocitelj and Kravica

on the way to Mostar and he accompanied us on both sites detailing the history and best way to see the sites. In Mostar also Ivo guided us on what to see, lunch recommendations and shopping! We had plenty of time to ourselves also and we did not feel rushed at all. We even got some hisotorical reading recommendations . We also booked airport taxi transfers with this company and again a prompt and courteous driver who was also very friendly with tips and info for our vacation. We would have no problem highly recommending this company.

Montenegro is a gorgeous country and it was made even more special because of the tour that I took with Filip. Punctual, friendly, humorous and knowledgeable are some of the adjectives that I’d use to describe him. During our day together, I went to Perast and saw Our Lady of the Rocks (where the found the image of the Virgin Mary in 1452) and St. George island. I also had the famous perast torta at a stunning water facing restaurant. We went to Kotor and I hiked up to Our Lady of Remedy Church, which was another location with a gorgeous view. After this,

I Filip drove to a truly one of a kind viewpoint above Kotor. We ended the day by having a late lunch at a pristine and antiqued (in the best way possible) restaurant and then drove to a winery overlooking the Bay of Kotor. As a solo female traveler, I always felt safe and respected and that’s something I truly appreciate. I’ll definitely be back to Montenegro and Croatia and will use this tour company to make my travels more memorable.

We had an amazing time with Filip driving along the gorgeous Bay of Kotor and taking plenty of postcard-worthy photos. The highlights of our trip were exploring the charming little town of Perast and climbing the historic walls of Kotor. Filip was very knowledgeable and shared interesting nuggets about every stop along the way, even introducing a market stall where we could find the famed Njeguski prosciutto. We would highly recommend engaging Filip for anyone taking a tour not just around Dubrovnik but in the surrounding regions.

We decided to book two trips with this company after reading the excellents reviews here on Tripadvisor.... and we were not disappointed. Our first trip was to Montenegro and the wonderful Bay of Kotor. Although the weather was not ideal, our guide, Zeljko, made sure we had a very special day. He was courteous, knowledgeable and a safe driver. He stopped at places to give us special views of the Bay of Kotor and of Budva which would have been impossible with a large tour bus. He gave us different options too, letting us decide what we would rather see. We felt we had made a new friend by the time we arrived back in Dubrovnik in the late afternoon. Our second trip was to Mostar and the Kravica Waterfalls

with Baldo. Baldo is another great guide, with a wry sense of humour, which made the day that much more enjoyable. He too, gave us many suggestions regarding interesting places to visit and let us decide the itinerary for the day. After visiting the fascinating small town of Ston, we had 45 minutes to enjoy the waterfalls before arriving at Mostar where we had a great meal at a restaurant recommended by Baldo. He parked very close to the old bridge in a car park which would be inaccessible to a large bus. The long journey back from Mostar was made that much shorter by Baldo's reminiscing about 80s music, both Croatian and international, which gave us another insight into the culture of his country. It was definitely money well spent opting for these two private tours, rather than travelling with a bus-load of tourists...we saw them waiting at the borders going through the labourious process of presenting their passports as we sped through relatively quickly. The attentive guides made sure that these two days were the highlight of our stay in Dubrovnik. You have a very professional team, Josip, and we'll be sure to be in contact the next time we visit Croatia.

fun day. He provided us with an incredible amount of information about every area that we passed through and stopped in. The stops that we made for coffee and snacks were fantastic and our dinner stop was unforgettable. The restaurant was an extremely special location with fantastic food. We never felt rushed at any of our stops and had a thoroughly enjoyable day. The bonus was that with Filip as our guide, we had a professional photographer with us. He has a great eye for where to stop to take beautiful shots. When he took our photo for us he made sure that the backgrounds were exceptionally beautiful. Other bonuses were a fantastic restaurant suggestion for Dubrovnik and great music for the drive back.

We were able to create our own tour by telling them where we wanted to go and they made an itinerary and booked the places. Our first trip was to Bosnia and the waterfalls and that was an excellent day. Driver was very friendly and made stops when we wanted for breaks/drinks. Our second trip was to two different wineries, the first winery was a small family run one and it was excellent.

The second one was one we wanted to go to, which has stunning views and scenery. The driver was knowledgeable, friendly and funny. His driving skills were also excellent on those coastal roads. If we went back to Croatia, we would 100% use these guys again and we would recommend them to anyone.

This is for you if: Love wine, want a private experience (2 people), can dedicate a full day, want a dedicated guide, want to learn about history. My wife and I really love wine and given we were celebrating our honey moon, wanted to do something private for just us two. This exceeded our expectation in many ways as Filip, our guide, was exceptional. He picked us up from our hotel and took us to some outstanding places throughout the day. His depth of knowledge was incredible as he taught us many things about Croatia history as we drove to our locations. By the end of the day we considered him a friend as ensured are safe return home. If you are interested in this tour, I would recommend asking for his availability. Our itinerary consisted of visiting (3) wineries (included), stopping for lunch (not included but we knew this before we signed up), and stopping by one a historical city wall landmark. We went to Matsuko, Family winery Antičević, and Edivo. These were all distinctly different experiences. All were good - our favorite was Antičević as this is small family owned place were we were lucky to spend time with the matriarch of the business - it felt like we had been invited into someone’s home for amazing story telling and of course, fantastic wine. A must visit. We also stopped by Winery Milos (fourth winery) for a quick purchase of some rose wine. For those new to Croatian wine (like we were), they are known for their red Plavac Mali which is a red grape only found in this region. My personal favorite is Dingac - so if you see this type make sure to try. For lunch we went Muszle i ostrygi. This was incredible and

truly authentic. This was a small place started by a couple (who I believe were ex-bankers) where they literally catch mussels in the water directly in front of their house and steam them. Enjoy these fresh mussels with some bread and white wine. Make sure to go here. We cannot wait to go back and also to see Filip again.

Sarajevo Day Tour. My husband and I took the day tour to Sarajevo and could not recommend enough. Filip our tour guide was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. As we passed through each region, Filip went through the history and some local information on each place, which we would never have learned on a solo

trip. When we arrived in Sarajevo, we were met by Emina who gave us a walking tour followed by some free time to wander through this beautiful, unique city. On the way back we stopped off in Mostar and some beautiful villages before arriving back to Dubrovnik. It was a long day with a 5.30am start, but it was really worth it, not least because of all the information we got along the way. 5 stars and to be highly recommended! Christina

We had four adults that did a very full day private Montenegro tour with Ivo. He was fabulous!!! From the moment he picked us up in Dubrovnik, he was providing us with a wealth

of knowledge about the areas we were visiting and their history. We customized the trip a bit and fit a lot into one day. We started at 6am and were dropped off back in Dubrovnik a little before 8pm. It was a great day. We saw so much, including a visit to the mausoleum, a 90 minute boat ride on Lake Skadar, a stop in Kotor and a short trip out to Our Lady of the Rocks. I had a wonderful day doing the Sarajevo tour. Filip is extremely courteous and knowledgeable about the history, geography and food of the region. On the way to Sarajevo, he kindly stopped at several locations to enable me

to take pictures of the stunning scenery. We also had traditional Bosnian meat and cheese pies for breakfast with Bosnian coffee. In Sarajevo, I had a fantastic and informative walking tour with Medina (starting with a detailed description of the day of Franz Ferdinand's assassination), and then had time to walk through the city myself. On the way back from Sarajevo we stopped at a family owned restaurant, with a stunning mountain view, for lamb on a spit with roast potatoes and salad. Lastly, we stopped at Mostar, where the devastation of the war, visible in the bullet and shell marks on the buildings, contrasts with the majestic Stari Most and its surroundings. It was close to sunset so a perfect time for a picture of the bridge. I recommend this tour to anyone who wishes to see beautiful mountains and rivers, have some great traditional food, and learn about the rich and turbulent history of this area.

Our guide was Miho and he has great English skills and is very knowledgeable about the history of the area. I now understand why Miho is a legend, and rightfully so. He showed us details that many guides would miss. He also gave us some light political perspectives of the area. He took us to a local restaurant on the water that was amazing in both the food, and view of the coastline. Overall we avoided masses of cruise ship tourists, except Kotor, which is a major stop for multiple cruise

ships. Kotor may be a good place to stop in to say you were there, however it's all tourist and expensive. If you have been to Dubrovnik, you should still see Kotor, but don't waste too much time there. This was an excellent experience. When we come again, we'll probably hire Miho for the day and ask him to show us cool things!

Our excursion to Mostar and Kravica waterfalls was a real highlight during our Dubrovnik visit. The driver made all the difference. Mladen spoke English very well and was able to explain the history and current events not only of our destinations but also the surrounding areas. He was very responsive to our requests, knew the shortcuts to avoid getting caught in traffic, and brought us to an excellent restaurant in Mostar. He was the perfect guide for our family of four.

We had a private tour with Filip. He picked up in a nice new Skoda made by VW. He was very knowledgeable and knew of many stops and highlights not in the guidebooks. He worked overtime as our trip lasted 12 hours. We learned a lot and his English was excellent.

He also made multiple stops specifically to make sure we got all the best photos AND took photos of us. We had a seaside snack in Perast gazing at turquoise waters, we climbed the fortress walls of Kotor for a spectacular view of the Old Town. and we had one of the best meals EVER at a family restaurant on their 300+ year-old property, which included an old mill and natural spring. Filip was our driver and guide for a full day private tour of Mostar, Kravica Waterfalls and the Buna river (Dervish house). He was a very friendly and knowledgeable chap, arrived on time with a very clean car and was a very safe driver despite the torrential rain we experienced driving to the waterfalls from Dubrovnik. At the waterfalls he made sure we stayed as dry as

possible and looked after us as the steep pathways were extremely wet and slippery! We ate delicious local food in a restaurant Filip recommended in Mostar and he took some excellent photographs, he knows all the right spots! A long but very enjoyable day trip to experience some of Bosnia's highlights and culture, well recommended.

We are so glad we took a private day trip to Bosnia Herzegovina’s Mostar. Our driver, Filip, made our trip extra special as he stopped at places for photos and to take in the views along the way. He is an excellent driver and tour guide, full of energy and knowledge. He is personable and warm. This neighbouring country is very different from Croatia. My husband and I were quite surprised. Sadly we saw several women begging

on the street and litter everywhere. Croatia is such a clean country. It was a dramatic difference. If you have the time, it’s worth the 3 hour drive, especially with Filip as he makes the time go by quickly. Filip made suggestions as to what to see and do as we are in Dubrovnik for several days. One of then places he suggested we go to is Lokum Island. I’m so glad we followed his suggestion. Tomorrow we will go to another place he suggested - Cavat. I’m sure we will love it. This country is beautiful.

This was an incredible experience. We had sooooo much fun and learned a lot. First we were picked up directly from our airport. Next we started with a walk up the wall and a tour of the city. Then we explored 4 incredible vineyards. We also toured an oyster farm where we learned about the oyster process and had fresh oysters right from the sea. The people are incredibly kind and friendly. Our tour guide, Filip, was the best tour guide we have ever had!!

Filip was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and highly enthusiastic about the history of croatia. He went out of his way to make sure we were always happy. This was the greatest wine tasting experience we have ever had. Then!!!!!! He took us to the restaurant that Anthony bourdain ate black risotto on his Croatian episode of Parts Unkown, and it was the best thing I have ever tasted. Do yourself a favor and book this tour and request Filip. You will not regret it.

We just returned from our tour of Montenegro with Filip and it was absolutely wonderful! Filip was a fantastic guide providing so much helpful information, anecdotes, and to top it off — has great taste in music!! The tour was perfectly paced with stops along the stunning Kotor Bay. By taking us through scenic Konavle (which looks quite like Tuscany) vs the standard crossing we not only breezed though the border in less than 3 minutes but saw some incredible scenery along the way. Perast and Kotor were completely stunning. If you plan on attempting the walls in Kotor bring some very sturdy shoes (the “steps” are super slippery). The Svetog Tripuna cathedral

in Kotor is worth the 3 euro admission as its expansive upstairs a hidden museum of ancient artifacts from 1000 years ago. Our only regret from the day is that Filip wasnt available to take us to Korcula later in the week. I would highly recommend this tour (and Filip) over any group trip as you can set your own pace and see things you couldn’t see on any larger tour. Thank you for a wonderful day!

Combining the Kravica waterfalls, Mostar (and we also stopped at Ston) made for a long day but was well worth it, to experience a very different culture to what you find in Croatia. I would recommend taking the tour company's advice and leaving very early in the morning to miss the crowds at the Kravica waterfalls, as they quickly become overrun with large tour buses/groups.

We did a private half day tour to Ston, with a walk along the walls, Oysters and Wine. Our guide Philip was amazing, so friendly and knowledgeable about local (and beyond!) history. We went for a wine tasting at a the wonderful Milos winery,

a family-run place with cellars dug into the hillside, then on to a boat ride to Mario’s oyster beds, where he fished some straight from the sea to our plates with more home made wine. Then on to Ston for a walk along the walls, and lunch at Mali Ston at Kapetanova kuća. Was a real highlight of our trip, such a great day! Thank you Philip and the team at Dubrovnik Day Tours!

Our group of 10 (family & friends) road comfortably in 2 vans on this private all day tour to Montenegro from Dubrovnik. We loved our drivers, who were very professional, funny, warm, and friendly.

The drivers were flexible with the schedule but kept us on track. We never felt rushed. The company had suggested we leave early from Dubrovnik to avoid border traffic and it was the best suggestion, as we didn't have to sit at border check long, which made our long drive quick and comfortable. We also did another full day tour with this company to the Split the following day & again, the drivers were fantastic! The vans were clean on both tours and the driver mentioned he got it washed in between the two days. All 10 people in the group raved about the two tours and our drivers: Ivo, Miho, and Baldo. The company also offered personal help to one of our traveling members when her flight home got canceled twice and she had to fly out of a different airport 3 hrs away. On a last minute's notice, driver and company manager Josip drove her to the airport. This is a company you can trust and will definitely feel like you're getting personal attention. Thank you for providing our group with memorable and wonderful two day tour experiences.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dubrovnik Day Tours. I traveled with family and friends (group of 10) to Dubrovnik for a week in April 2022 and we took 2 day tours with this organization: one to Montenegro, the other to Split. Josip was very organized in the days that he arranged for us. Both days,

we had two guides and two roomy cars to get us there comfortably. My guide both days was Miho who was kind, funny, and knowledgeable! Based on what our guides could tell we liked the first day, they adapted our second day's itinerary to our liking. Our guides always knew the best pit stops and view points to stop and take in our surroundings. Last but not least, when I ran into an issue on my way traveling home with two subsequent flights out of Dubrovnik cancelled and my third flight was booked out of Split, Josip was kind enough to drop everything that day and personally drive me to Split so I could safely start my journey home. So grateful for the people of this company who went above and beyond at every step.

We were greeted at our hotel by wonderful Stefan for our beautiful day tour of Korčula, Ston and wine tasting. It was phenomenal! It’s a must see trip. Absolutely gorgeous! The next day Ivo picked us up in another clean fab car to take us to visit Pocitelj, Blagaj and Mostar in Bosnia.

It was wonderful. Best way to see Bosnia. Each town was great. Ivo made sure to take us to all the best photo sites and even took us to get the Burek (flavors - meat, cheese and spinach, pumpkin and cheese) with yogurt - it was delicious 😋 , Ivo was an encyclopedia of knowledge on the history of the areas and I highly recommend this company for all your southern Croatia needs.

Great experience! Our guide, Stjepan, was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed learning about the history of the places that we visited. We toured after the end of the tourist season so many things were closed but this was not a big deal. f you are staying in Dubrovnik and have a day or two spare, I strongly recommend you arrange a tour of Mostar and Međugorje with Doria Ltd. They organized a fantastic trip. In preparation, they were very quick to respond to emails and offered advice and were willing to adjust the itinerary if necessary.

On the day itself, Doria Ltd. provided an excellent driver who was very friendly and accommodating for the duration of the trip. Enough time was given at Međugorje and later Mostar, with time at the latter for a lunch (not included). The day tour lasted 7-8 hours in total, including a break at the interesting old Turkish tour of Počitelj, and leaving enough time to settle back at the hotel for the evening. To reiterate, this was an excellent excursion and I would arrange future tours from or around Croatia with Doria Ltd.

We had an absolutely amazing day with Filip as our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about everywhere we went and the places we drove through. He offered new places to visit, such as a small mussel farm and a fortress, he was not pushy to take us to these places and genuinely wanted to know if we were interested in visiting these places, which we were. The small mussel and oyster farm we visited was lovely, Filip gave us the option to try the freshest mussels cooked in wine and garlic- which were absolutely delicious. We visited Ston, where he asked if we wanted to visit and climb the City Walls whilst we were here, which we were happy to and enjoyed seeing the town and salt lakes from up high.

The 3 wineries we visited were all very different and offered some top quality wine, along with short tours of some of the cellars. Overall, the day has been fantastic, not rushed at all, taken at our leisure, with it tailored to exactly what we wanted to do. Filip has been great company and we loved hearing about his home country, somewhere we will definitely visit again!

Highly recommend this tour company! Their pricing is a bit higher than competitors in the area, but I ultimately went with them because I wanted a smaller group (1 car) vs the big tour buses

of the other companies. I read that customers were waiting hours for their tour bus to cross borders, but I didn't experience that at all with this company. Pickup was smooth and on time, just a block away from my apartment. We left early to avoid traffic. My driver Mato was friendly, conversational, professional, and wore a mask the whole time. I felt very safe. My driver had great recommendations, excellent knowledge of the whole area, and was always flexible with the timing as it was just me, no other guests. He would say "let's plan to meet at the car in 3 hours, but don't worry if you want to take longer, I'll be here anyway." And that was amazing, because there is nothing worse as a tourist than feeling like you're being rushed along like cattle. Mostar was such a quaint little town, beautiful buildings and river, but it was crowded and HOT. Very affordable, so if you want to do any shopping, this is a great opportunity. Most places only took cash, so keep that in mind. I was met by a local tour guide who was friendly and spoke English well, but the tour was very short (it's a small town, I guess) and I honestly don't even remember anything she told me. Just was an ok tour. I also added on a visit to Kravica Waterfalls, and it was pretty but I regret not bringing a swimsuit. I'd recommend swimming there if you get the chance. Overall, it was a fantastic day! Go with them, you won't regret it.

It was our last day day in Dubrovnik so we decided to book something unique. We love wine and oysters so this was a great option for us (Peljesac Wine & Oysters Premium Private Tour).

Our guide's name was Filip. He picked us up directly from our hotel and drove us a lot more then 4 hours. He was very well spoken and gave us some history lessons along the way. First we went for wine tasting to an old family own winery where one can also buy some wine directly from the owner. After that we went to taste the oysters we a local farmer on his boat which was such a wholesome experience that we didn't want to leave :) After that decided to climb the famous Ston wall. The view there was truly amazing. We took a lot of pictures and went to have some lunch after that. On our way back Filip showed us a lot of awesome photo-points and even stoped the car so we can take some pictures together. Overall it was a great experience. Highly recommended!

First we can’t say enough about our driver and guide Philip. He was knowledgeable and a great tour guide. We never felt rushed and so happy we took more time in Ston to

climb the “Great Wall of Ston” and stop at a nearby local restaurant to try the local farm raised oysters as he suggested. The wineries he took us to were all wonderful but varied in wine making style. Finally, Philip really saved the day when we realized we needed a Covid test in order to fly back to the US the next day. Philip made a couple of phone calls while we continued to enjoy our tasting. He took us to the airport at the end of the day as that was the fastest and most affordable method we could use to get tested in time. He dropped us off and then picked us up and drove us back to where we were staying with no problem. He made what could have been a very stressful situation into nothing more than a slight inconvenience. Truly was a great tour ....beautiful country and a highly recommended driver and tour guide in Philip. We cannot wait to return.

Our first stop was the oyster tasting with Mario, who farms oysters at Mali Ston. The oysters were so fresh and tasted amazing. After the tasting, we climbed the Great Wall of Ston and took in the breathtaking views of seeing Mali Ston and Ston from above. Then we headed to the wineries for wine tasting and tasted different wines from 3 different wineries. Such a beautiful country and love the food. The people are all nice. Dubrovnik Day Tours helped me plan my family trip of 12 people. We had grandparents, parents and teenagers and they chose some thing for each of us. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Croatia. Our guide was amazing! Everything was perfectly choreographed, including free time, and we felt so welcome

and comfortable and well taken care of. If you can swing it, do add the wine tasting and the oyster tasting to the day trip. The oysters were probably the best oysters I've ever eaten, and we ate them with the man who grows them, on his boat, right where they grow. It was an experience we will never forget! Worth every Euro!!!

I've had the pleasure of doing 2 tours with these guys: the Dubrovnik city tour and the day trip to Montenegro. I have done my share of tours over the years, and I can honestly say these have been the most informative, well thought, entertaining and fun of them all.

It is rare to find people born and raised in the old town of Dubrovnik and it is even more difficult to find people with the knowledge, passion and professionalism that Ivo and Stjepan bring to the table. I could have spent a week listening to the history of both Dubrovnik, Montenegro, Yugoslavia, etc and to all the anecdotes, facts and personal experiences. Truly outstanding. Ivo and Mijo, pick us up in Dubrovnik and we went to Perast, Lady of the rocks, by boat and then to Kotor with a very nice guide for only 30 minutes. During the travel from Dubrovnik to Montenegro

Ivo explained as the Balcanes war and the history and the actual situation and relationship between the actual little countries of the old Yugoslavia. We travelled with 8 young people who found everything very interesting. It has been a very nice experience highly recommended

This tour was very efficient where you can see 2 countries in 1 day. Perfect for you who has limited time. Our driver and guide, Baldo, was awesome!

The 12 hours trip feels so fast because of him. Not only he is a good driver, but he also has good knowledge about history and the place itself, and he has a very good sense of humour too! I definitely recommend this tour.

We loved seeing how different Bosnia and Herzegovina is from Croatia. Crossing the border so many times because of historical and strategic reasons was also mind blowing.

The tour organized by Doria Tours was very informative, well organized, great guides, great cars and really focused on teaching you everything there is to know about the destination you are discovering. They provided enough free time to freely explore and discover, which was great. Special thanks to Sasa, Davorin, Ivo and Toni and highly recommended!

We spent a great day with Ivo - he was very friendly, professional and also a safe driver. Mostar is a very interesting place and it's amazing to walk the streets and eat the local food.

We were able to customise the tour to suit what we wanted to see and Ivo was very knowledgable of all the areas we went to, giving some great history lessons along the way but also curious to hear about where we're from. Before the tour we had great communication, the car was new and safe and whilst we covered a lot of ground, nothing felt rushed. This tour is great value and I'd definitely recommend it Thanks again

This was the perfect day trip for a group of 4 couples. We were picked up at our hotel in Mlini south of Dubrovnik, and our driver was friendly, informative and very accommodating.

We crossed the border with no delays thanks to our drivers local knowledge, and visited Perast and then on to Kotor where we had a private guide take us on a walking tour. We had free time to explore then headed back across the border mid afternoon and went to a traditional Croatian restaurant in a beautiful setting and experienced Peka... the best meal we had in Croatia! The entire day was perfect, and worth every cent! Thoroughly recommend this tour company.

We had a great day out with Ivo in August. He picked us up from our apartment in Gruz and despite hearing of the long queues at the border crossing into Montenegro,

Ivo had it sorted and took us to a less busy crossing so we did not have to wait too long. He told us of the history of Croatia in between stopping at some beautiful places along the way. Couldn’t recommend this trip enough. It is well worth the money.

The Drive to the top of the hill was a test of the driver's skill, he passed with flying colors. The look-out is very uneven ground but the driver was very helpful

if you were unsteady on your feet and the view was fantastic. The tour thru the old city was also very interesting with time for shopping. Happy Wife Happy Life.

While based in Croatia, we wanted to explore outside Dubrovnik and spent a day with Ivo, driving to three cities, two countries and four regions! What a fabulous day!

Ivo was so knowledgable about Bosnia and Herzegovina, an area we did not know much about before going to Croatia. He was also kind, respectful and funny. From buying me salt in Ston (to save me from paying a tourist price at the entrance to the flats) to putting us in good hands with a local tour guide in Mostar to calmly handling a police stop in Serbian territory, Ivo was a pleasure to spend the day with. Highly recommend this trip if you want a different experience!

Communicating by email was fantastic. Mariah or Josip always responded very quickly. A change to our bill due to a friend’s illness was made promptly. Driver to Montenegro was Ivo. He was very nice and knew a lot. He used a ‘locals’ border crossing

which saved a lot of time on our journey. We visited Our Lady of the Rocks (nice), Kotor (no time to climb hills in back, but rather a city tour by a local guide) and Budva (a real surprise with old walled city and fabulous mussel lunch - I had ‘varied mussels with Adriatic shrimp’ and loved it.). Ivo picked us up promptly at 7:30 and we got back at 18:30. All in all a trust worthy company that is easy to work with. We all felt we got our money’s worth on the Montenegro day trip.

Our guide was Ivor -- loquacious, very knowledgeable, charming. Picked us up on time in comfortable van, and was attentive and helpful throughout the day, which started at 7:30am and ended at ca 5pm. All excellent, as was email communication with the office to book the tour.

It is 2 and 1/2 hours to get to Perast (with a stop midway for coffee), a very interesting and beautiful place, but we only had about 30 mins there. Would have liked to stay longer. Then on to Kotor -- we had45 minutes with an excellent local guide (Kikka) and 45 minutes free time. Again, we would have liked to have stayed longer. We were then driven another 40 minutes or so to Budva, a not very attractive or interesting place (no sightseeing) to have lunch (which we paid for) at a nice seaside restaurant Then back in the van for the long drive back to D'nik. In retrospect: Budva was a total waste of time. Much better to have used those 2+ hours to enjoy more of Perast and Kotor, and to have lunch in the latter.

Our driver Ivo pick us up from our Dubrovnik apartment as arranged and on time. We headed off south for a most interesting and informative tour. Ivo was full of local knowledge and info about the area, covering a variety of historical, cultural and social topics.

We had a most interesting tour around the old city of Kotor with a local guide, even met his wife while wandering around. Food is always very important and Ivo took us to a seafood restaurant over the water, can't remember its name but it was very good. A very pleasant full day with no hassles, even the boarder crossing was easy! Highly recommended!

We arrived in Doverbanik with our dream ship and descended near the walls of the Old City and there we started our hiking tour around the walls. The route is really challenging,

but the scenery you see around is a great value for the effort. We really enjoyed the spectacular views and the fine food as well as the delicious ice creams. There is so much to see in the Old City. We spent 5 hours there. You can also take a guided tour after that in another area.

We took the day tour to Dubrovnik as we were staying in Split. Our guide was excellent and so was our coach driver! Both very funny. We we’re unfortunate that it rained during our time in Dubrovnik but our tour guide still managed to keep the group together despite this. It was an excellent tour! What a beautiful and very historic city! If you’re a game of thrones fan you’ll love it too.

This is a trip not to be missed, Montenegro is just beautiful, we loved it. We did a semi private trip, (with just one other couple)in a nice air conditioned vehicle. The drive there was not long

at all and being in September, just out of busy season the border crossings very quick. We booked the trip through Doria Ltd team who, from the start were so quick & prompt in their replies to any questions we asked, we were very impressed. Our guide, Goran, he was just great, a fountain of knowledge, friendly & fun, made our day very special. I would recommend this tour & Doria Ltd without hesitation.

I looked for a day trip to cover both Bosnia and Montenegro that would hopefully mean not being stuck for hours at border crossings at the height of summer - I found this trip which seemed to suit our purpose perfectly!

Ivo was our guide/driver and he was absolutley brilliant! He was entertaining and had great chit chat throughout and made us laugh a lot during the day but he also allowed us space to wander. We stopped frequently with the kids and had a lot of picture stops - enjoying the coffee and pastry and local market in Bosnia was a particularly lovely way to start the day. I was blown away by the scenery on this trip particularly in Perast and Kotor. Stunning scenery around the Bay of Kotor. The small towns were really pretty and we came away with some great memories. We were actually surprised at how stunning the scenery was! Its a long day and quite a bit of time is spent in the car but we had plenty of time to walk around, grab lunch and see the towns and take in the sights so it didnt feel as if we were in the car that much. The minibus (for 4 of us) was very clean and spacious and made the day a whole lot more comfortable - Ivo was a very safe driver. I would highly recommend this to take in both Bosnia and Montenegro!! Well worth it particularly if you get Ivo as your guide!! He will make you laugh!

We really had an amazing trip to Mostar with Filip he was on time and passed by Pocitelj the old city where only few families live there, Before we head to Mostar,

It was a place with a peace of mind the we took alot of amazing photos there and bought memorable souvenirs. After then we went to the beautiful city Mostar, there we met Sasha a native guide who was very kind and helpful showed us everything about the city and told us alot of it's history with the magnificent bridge. Filip was really helpful and told us a lot on our way regard the history of Dubrovnik the republic and how the war had ended with people defending their land, Either the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well with too much information to share, we do appreciate that. For sure we won't forget this amazing trip. Thank you guys.

We had booked the tour for 55 euros each in advance of us going to Dubrovnik, and it was worth every penny! We had Robert as our tour guide and he was so enthusiastic and friendly. He was very knowledgeable about the sets and filming - as he was an extra in a few scenes!

The tour lasted from 9am-11:45am. There was a hefty amount of stairs at some point but if you are able, then it's not a problem at all because it was worth it when you got to the top.Bring lots of water (you can fill up bottles at the fountain where you meet outside the walls) and trainers! Would 100% recommend to anyone who is a fan of the show

Goran, our guide was waiting for us at the cruise port. We headed across the Croatian border to spend the day tasting wine and local food in Bosnia Herzegovina.

It was a beautiful drive through the countryside. We stopped at a Monastery to taste and then a delightful little garden tasting room that was owned by a local Bosnian, who grows grapes and makes his own wine. The wine was delicious and something we will never be able to purchase stateside. After tasting we stopped at a lovely local restaurant for an amazing ethnic meal where we tasted kaymak for the first time. Goran spoke perfect English and shared so much information with us. If you have been to Dubrovnik before and want to do something different or just want to escape the crowds of the city, I highly recommend this tour. It was a lovely day learning about someplace new.

Wow! Spot on time, we were picked up at the Dubrovnik port and drove down to Mostar (2.5 hours each way) in a comfortable car with a knowledgeable driver,

who told us a lot about the history of the region. We reached well in time to get a 1.5 hour walking tour of the gorgeous city of Mostar with an amazing guide: Anita. She really filled us in with all the historical importance of the city and a great look into the lives of the Bosnian people. We then had a little time for a Turkish cup of coffee and Baklava.. Yummiest ever! Loved the superb experience and cant thank Dorian enough to be so understanding and prompt with all the email exchanges. The seem-less tour makes travelling such a wonderful experience! Keep up the great work!

If you visit Dubrovnik, be sure to book a tour through this company. Scheduling our trip was easy and worth every penny. We had door-to-door service for our wonderful day trip to Montenegro.

We definitely recommend making reservations at the island hotel of St Stefan. Amazing food, gorgeous views and deep history. Totally worth the trip and can be done in a day. If you can, ask for Ivo to be your driver. For a family with two young kids traveling in a new country, Ivo couldn’t have been more amazing. Not only was he an experienced and knowledgeable tour guide, he was easy going, super friendly and kind. Our whole family absolutely adored him. More importantly, Ivo was extremely attentive to our safety on the road. He always drove the speed limit, never engaged in risky passing and was always patient when traffic slowed. A much better driver than myself and my wife. You couldn’t be in better hands on the road. We’ll definitely be scheduling another tour with Dubrovnik Day Tours when we return.

We used Dubrovnik Day Tours for our family of 4 (2 adults, 1 child age 8 and 1 age 15) on a day trip to Mostar. I was struggling to decide between Mostar and Montenegro,

as we had limited time in the area. Josip was very helpful via email in planning our trip. He offered that if we wanted to see a completely different culture than Dubrovnik, that Mostar was the right choice for our family. I also wanted to see Krka Falls, so Josip customized our trip to include this stop. Ivo arrived at our hotel at 8am. Ivo was not only professional but very warm and passionate about his country. He told us all about what we were passing along the way, and made stops at several places for beautiful scenery/pictures and a coffee break. My kids get motion sick easily, but did not by the design of the stops on this trip. It kept them engaged, and the day went by so fast. When in Mostar, we were met but a local guide. She was able to help us find various items we wanted to buy and also recommend a delicious restaurant for lunch with a view of the bridge, as well as guide us on what to order for the most traditional cuisine....delicious! We made it back to Old Town by 5:30 pm and didn't want to tell Ivo good bye. Mostar takes Euros and Kuna, so there was no need to exchange money for the Bosnian Mark. Restaurants prefer cash, as do the merchants, and each provides their pricing in a mix of currencies. Ivo, thank you for a day to remember! You are exceptional at what you do.

We used Dubrovnik Day Tours for our family travel (7) to go to Montenegro on May 20th and to Mostar and Split on May 23rd.

The email communication with Josip/Dubrovnik Day tours was extremely prompt and helpful. We needed a one-way transfer to Split and he suggested to go to Mostar on the way...loved! Josip was very easy to work with and answered all of our questions. The absolutely best part of our trip to Montenegro and Mostar/Split was spending time with our tour guide IVO! He was extremely friendly, knowledgable, and funny! We enjoyed his singing, stories, and questions to us! He went out of his way to make our tour the best possible. He was the absolute best and I would highly recommend Ivo as your tour guide!

After doing a lot of research for day trips outside of Dubrovnik I discovered Dubrovnik Day Tours and I was not disappointed. Originally I planned on doing their Mostar Day tour but my wife and I changed our plans

and inquired about a personalized and grueling trip to try to pack everything we could in. Dubrovnik Day Tours accommodated our request and we managed to do Montenegro and Mostar in Day! Our guide Goran was really friendly and knowledgeable and really gave us a fantastic day exploring the Balkans. He gave us great tips during our excursions for restaurants and taught us the proper way to drink a Bosnian coffee. He also brought us to interesting sites such as a medieval Bosnian cemetery and a Farmer's Market in Croatia where we got to sample fresh candies and liquors. Dubrovnik Day tours was definitely the best option for me and my budget. I recommend them and I recommended them to the hotel that I stayed at.

The game of thrones tour was fab, our guide was so knowledgeable and made sure we all enjoyed the experience. Special thanks for finding a chair whilst I recovered from the stairs.

Mostar with Felip...cannot describe how amazing this tour was. Felip is as early for our pickup and our entire trip was faultless. He told us so much about the history of Croatia, the war and the divisions afterwards and recommended excellent places to stop for coffee and lunch. He made a special effort to let us stop for photos taking those for us so we got some cute couple ones. Felip thank you so so much for making our trip so wonderful and memorable. We won’t forget it! Once in Mostar we met with the local guide Anna Maria who took us around the town and have us the history of Mostar. Our driver Ivo was amazing! we had a beautiful day out in Bosnia - he not only drove us but we also got a full history lesson.

all wineries were different form each other and each had its special items. My favorite was the small family winery. They served some prosciutto that they smoked themselves and the wine was fantastic. The wine pours are very large, so be ready to eat and rink a lot! I would highly recommend this tour!

Wow, we were blown away with how much we enjoyed this trip out. It's a long day, but well worth it. One of the best things about the day was our driver. We were really inquisitive about the war of Yugoslavia

and our driver was really happy to answer our questions. He made the trip so more interesting because of his knowledge. The car was of a high standard as was his driving. He took care of our passports to ensure there were no unnecessary hold-ups at the border crossings. Bosnia has some lovely scenery, I wish i'd asked to stop to take some photos. On arrival in Sarajevo he introduced us to a local guide who he'd made arrangements with. Again a local man who had great knowledge of the political history, and even recommended a restaurant serving traditional Ćevapi which is delicious. We then headed out to Mostar where we had no guide, but didn't really need one, it's just one cobbled street of markets/shops leading to the infamous bridge. There was a fantastic photo display on the bridge showing photos taken during the war.

Our guide, Stephan, picked us up in the walled part of Dubrovnik and we walked a short distance to the van. We were with another couple and had lots of room for seating. We so enjoyed the drive

along the sea with spectacular views of all the small islands of Croatia. We definitely had our nerves on high as we drove through the vineyards on the very steep hillside with a very narrow road. It was a breathtaking view. We went through a short tunnel to an area where the wineries were located. We stopped at 2 and enjoyed the tastings. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable of the entire area and very enjoyable to listen to.

We had a fantastic time and so happy we went on the tour. Goran was happy to explain a brief history of the region. The variety of places we visited was amazin: a monastery,

a family wine maker's home and a family-run restaurant and cellars. The home made prosciutto/meats and cheeses and food in the family restaurant were outstanding. Goran was also happy to share with us favourite local restaurants, dishes and wine bars. Some of which we've already visited and some of which we are visiting tonight! We would highly recommend the tour to friends who would visit Dubrovnik.

We booked 5 private tours with Dubrovnik Day Tours. Everything went according to plan and even exceeded our expectations! Dobrovnik and Cavtat panoramic tour with Stephan Split with Filip, Korcula,

Ston and Trsteno with Mladen Mostar and Pocitelj with Filip, Montenegro with Goran The booking was extremely smooth. The communication with Josip was easy and quick. The guides were on time, very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, providing information about the history of Croatia and the neighbouring countries, the current developments and details about the places we visited. Also they showed us the best places to take photos and to try the local cuisine. Each guide was engaging and kept us fascinated, Filip being extremely passionate about what he does. Local guides were waiting for us in Split, Korcula, Mostar and Kotor for detailed tours of the old cities. Being private the tours were flexible according to our preferences. My favourite were Korcula and Montenegro. Would recommend the tour agency to friends who might be visiting Croatia.

Four of us did a full day tour with Dubrovnik Day Tours (“DDT”), which covered all the highlights of Dubrovnik, a coastal drive and the historic town of Ston.

DDT did a great job! Stephen was our tour guide and he was waiting for us as we disembarked the cruise ship in Dubrovnik. He had a spacious comfortable van waiting for us. He was extremely knowledgeable about Dubrovnik, Croatia, the former Yugoslavia, and all the associated history from virtually the beginning of time. He had a way of making it come alive and interesting. We had covered the Old Town area with Robert from DDT the day before when we did the “Game of Thrones” tour, so Stephen took us straight on top of the mountain. He was an excellent driver and some of the roads we took there to get to the top of the mountain were quite challenging and he masterly maneuvered us around. The views of Dubrovnik from atop the mountain top were breath taking. Stephen knew exactly what he was doing, because he got us to the top before an of the other tour buses or tours and we had the place to ourselves for 15 -20 minutes and then droves of tourist started showing up. From there he gave us a tour of the countryside and coastline and had a very enjoyable ride to Ston. There we saw the salt fields and walked around the quaint little town. We then drove outside of town and visited several wineries and participated in some wine tasting activities. The wine was excellent at both wineries we visited. One of them was a fairly large operation and has won international awards. The other one was more of a small family operation and in many ways was more special. After the wine tasting we drove back to Ston and did a walking tour of the city. It is a small town and has some well-preserved walls going up the mountainside. We chose not to climb the walls, but they were a marvel to look at from afar. We stopped at a very nice seafood restaurant and had a wonderful lunch al fresco. The waiters were friendly, funny and very accommodating. They put bibs on us and we ate mussels and local fish. It was delicious food, a beautiful setting and a lot of fun. After lunch we worked our way back to Dubrovnik by driving along the coastal highway. It was a beautiful day. DDT and Stephen did a great job and we had a wonderful day!!! We would highly recommend using DDT for any of their tours!!!

We had an excellent time on this tour with Josip. Our tour was private and even though I had to change the number of parties who would be attending the tour at the last minute,

Josip was very accommodating. Josip was very communicative throughout the entire booking process and was very informative. The car was extremely comfortable which was great because of the length of the tour. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone who wants to take a day trip to Sarajevo which is a beautiful place.

We had an incredible day trip to Sarajevo and Mostar with Filip. Everything about the trip was smooth and easy, including all logistics.

Our family of 4 (including two kids) really enjoyed Filip - who is a great guide, and is very very knowledgeable. The guide in Sarajevo was also fantastic. We also happened to eat some amazing roadside food on the drive including traditional Bosnian roasted lamb and meat pies - all suggestions of Filip. One of the best cultural day trips we have had. If you are a student of the history and culture of this region, lease book this trip and ask for Filip!

As we only had 1 day spare to visit Sarajevo, we chose to do it with Dubrovnik Day Tours as they were able to accommodate what we wanted to see.

Filip was the best tour guide we've ever had. We left Dubrovnik at 5am (best time to see the Old Town with no-one in it!) and arrived back at 8pm. It was a BIG day but well worth it. The scenery is amazing - mountains, rivers and orchards. Totally different to what we expected to see. We stopped for morning tea at a bakery to sample Bosnian pite and stopped along the way for a couple of photo stops and to stretch our legs. When we arrived in Sarajevo we had a local tour guide show us around for over an hour. He was very informative and showed us the many areas and cultural influences of Sarajevo. He shared with us his personal experience of living in Sarajevo during the siege from 1992-1996. We chose to go to the Tunnel of Hope and we are glad we did as you can walk through a small section of the tunnel, see video footage and photo displays of the siege. We go to visualise everything we had heard about. We stopped for a late lunch of lamb spit in Herzegovina. Mouth watering and worth waiting until 3pm for lunch (great view too). We stopped at Mostar to see the Stari Most (Old Bridge). Biggest disappointment of the trip - very commercial. You have to walk through shops and cafes to stand on the bridge and you can't get photos of it. You have to go to the new bridge to take photos of it from a distance. Filip was the driver and the guide in a comfortable sedan. He really knew history and was really interesting to talk to - we even chatted about music! if you are staying in Dubrovnik and only have 1 day to spare to see Sarajevo, just do it, you won't be disappointed.

My wife and I did a private day tour from Dubrovnik with Filip from the Doria Team. It was an oyster and wine tasting tour which was remarkable.

Filip was very knowledgeable and very friendly. He was awesome. He not only gave us great recommendations while in Croatia but also for places in Montenegro since we would be traveling there next. We started our tour in the afternoon at 2:00pm and returned at about 8:00pm. Filip what a memorable tour you gave us. He first took us to Mali Ston where we hopped in a small boat with Mario who farms oysters. After enjoying some Bosnian wine with Mario he picked out some of his farmed oysters, cracked them open right there and boy were they the most delicious oysters my wife and I have ever eaten. We purposely did not eat oysters our entire trip in order to really enjoy this experience. Croatian oysters are meatier than any other oysters and tasting them right from the water was an experience. We than traveled to two wineries in the area and enjoyed their wines. We could not resist purchasing wines from them either. What we enjoyed most were that these wineries were small family owned and operated wineries. One of which was basically ran out of the owners house (8 generations of wine making). They grow the grapes, make the wine, bottle the wine, label the wine and sell the wine all from their home (all done manually no large machinery). This was a great treat to see how hard the people of Croatia work to make such great wine. Both wineries were super friendly and explained in great detail the process of making the wine. Most importantly how the grapes grow on such steep hills in the region. The steeper the hills the better the grapes. Most of the wines are made from the Plavac Mali grapes which make for some great wine. The Doria Team was so easy to work with prior to our arrival. Josip and the team are great and we would recommend them for any tours you are looking for in Dubrovnik.

We did the private tour (that picked us up 100 meters from our place that took us to Dubrovnik and then the Ston region. In Dubrovnik we just went to a few superb vista points

(since we had already explored the Old Town on our own the night before), and then the wine country (with tastings), then ate fresh oysters with a local fisherman on a boat, and then an excellent restaurant for lunch. Highly recommend using this company, as they were very friendly, transparent, and the guide (Goran) made the whole adventure a lot of fun.

This was such a beautiful day, and Filip is the best private driver who knows everything about the Pelijesac wine region! We did the private tour that took us to Ston where I walked the walls which are the second biggest fortification in Europe!

We also did the fresh oysters boat tour which was so cool. Mario (boat driver) was fun, and showed us what having real oysters right out of the water is like with just lemon and delicious white wine. I loved every moment of the trip. We stopped at two wineries, and ate fresh figs right off the trees, and bought bottles of fresh olive oil. Ask for Filip for your day trips! He is the absolute best!

Sarajevo and Mostar tour

Doria took us on a day tour to Sarajevo and Mostar. It was a long day, but Baldo expertly drove and guided us through Herzegovina and the beautiful Bosnian mountains to the two fabulous cities.

The war, unfortunately, has left deep scars, but the Bosnian people were warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this tour to anyone staying in Dubrovnik, especially if you want to avoid the hordes (and heat) of the tourist season in Dubrovnik.

Loved this day trip!! We drove to Ston first for Oyster picking with a local fisherman named Mario. This was an incredible experience and the most amazing tasting oysters,

only needing lemon. Then we went on to two small wineries in the Peljesac region. Our guide Filip was amazing. He was so knowledgeable and made the entire experience, including the drive, very enjoyable. Filip really went out of his way to show us everything possible along our drive and was not on a time clock. It was a truly enjoyable day. I highly recommend it.

From the start the communication with Josip was excellent. We arrived via the Wind Surf and were greeted by MiLLi when we stepped off the tender.

MiLLi had a nice company car that was new, roomy and air conditioned. He was flexible and let us change plans mid stream and added a few things in along the way once he learned of our interests. We went on 8 different excursions on this trip and MiLLi was our favorite guide of the trip! We loved Dubrovnik and Korcula thanks to MiLLi it was one of our best days of the vacation! He was knowledgeable and friendly, gave us just the right amount of information and free time.

We did 2 tours. First to Korcula via Ston with great winetasting on the way back. Ivo was a very good guide.

2nd trip to Montenegro with Goran who was equally knowledgeable. Would have been good to have a quick look at Perast but that was not offered...that would be our only criticism. Our local guide in Kotor was Neda who was very good also.

They were skillful and safe drivers too. The tours were very relaxing and flexible. We managed to visit a lot of places in each tour due to the well planned itinerary by our guides. We took two tours, one to Montenegro and the Game of Thrones. Tomi and Robert were both amazing. They were funny and very knowledgeable. It shows that they love what they do.

For Montenegro, it is very important to be on time. Crossing borders can take up a lot of time otherwise. Tomi recommended a great seafood restaurant to us in Budva. We had a lot of fun on the private tour. Tomi ensured we two girls were very well taken care of. And yea, he clicks amazing pictures. Robert on the other hand was super funny. Having never watched Game of Thrones before, I still understood every little detail he mentioned. It was really cool to get the props for a few pictures and other tourists were just wondering where we got them from. Thank You guys. Definitely will recommend this to our friends and maybe come back again for the Mostar and Sarajevo Tour.

We had the trip to Korcula Island (beautiful place highly recommend you go) and the wine tour on the way back was great.

We had Goran as our tour guide and he was really knowledgeable about every stop along the way. He allowed for us to pick our own stops for coffee/bathroom/sights with advice from him which was really great and helpful. Overall the tour was a great experience and we really enjoyed spending the day with Goran.

The best and most professional travel agent in Dubrovnik. We did a private Tour to Split with Goran.

His wealth of knowledge is so impressive and made the journey so interesting. He went out of the way to stop at places that we wanted to see and was very considerate. The guide he organised for us in Split , Leo , was also very knowledgable. We had booked private tours with other operators but Dubrovnik day tours is definitely the best tour operator in Dubrovnik!

We had a great experience on this tour. Our guide Ivo was fantastic. He narrated the history of Dubrovnik and Croatia very nicely during the drive to Korcula. We visited a winary

in peljesac peninsula while coming back.Then drove to Ston. Climbed the walls of Ston.I would definitely recommend climbing the wall if you can. We missed the cable car ride due to bad weather condition, hence Ivo drove us to a viewpoint and also saw few GOT shooting spots. Thank you Ivo for making our tour a memorable one.

My husband and I booked four tours with Doria. Josip, who arranged them,was in excellent contact with us and bent over backwards to accomodate us. The guides are accommodating

and quickly size up the type of tourist you are by tailoring the tours to your interests. We highly recommend this tour company with a shout out to Filip, Goran, and Ivo. They also offer to assist you with other matters not related to the tour. My husband was interested in a peka and Filip was kind enough to stop outside of Mostar and assist us with a vendor. Filip also helped us locate our rental car even after a long tour day. He also recommended a couple of restaurants which turned out to be special, one outside the Bay of Kotor and the other in Mostar. Ivo made the day special when we went to Korcula. He has good knowledge of wine and we brought a couple of bottles back to the States. We felt in very good hands.

We had a full day trip to Korcula and wine tasting with Goran in October. Lovely day,

and we go to see quite a bit. He was very knowledgable and we appreciated all he taught us. I giggled at the other comment about his fast/aggressive driving - so true but he was very skilled and thats how everyone drives in Croatia! Certainly after the wine tasting I didn't notice it. Would highly recommend the company- great value.

My friends and I took the Bosnian Wine Tour by Dubrovnik Day Tours and could not have been happier. It was a private tour, picked up at our accommodation in Cavtat

and returned there at the end of the day. Our driver, Ivo, was both professional and friendly. He was full of knowledge and nothing was too much trouble for him. We were to go on a Montenagro Tour a few days later but unfortunately ill health prevented us from going. We would all thoroughly recommend Dubrovnik Day Tours, they were professional right from the booking, (thank you Josip) through to the tour. It was a wonderful day and one of the highlights of our visit to Dubrovnik.

Dubrovnik to Split transfer with sightseeing

I booked a private transfer from Dubrovnik to Split so that my daughter and I could stop off at all the amazing places along the way, particularly Mostar.

(It was a personalized itinerary arranged in advance.) We had a fantastic day with Tomo, our careful driver who was full of information, stories and anecdotes that made the journey pass most enjoyably. We had a short stop at Ston, and a very brief stop at Poticelj and then had a decent break at Mostar, including a guided tour by a wonderful local guide called Anna-Maria, time for lunch to experience the delicious local cuisine and a bit of time to explore at our own pace afterwards. It was just what we wanted, Tomo was great company, and we arrived at our Split hotel in time for tea. I highly recommend this over the standard bus service between Dubrovnik and Split, where you can only gaze longingly out of the window at all the amazing towns en route.

Wouldn't normally have gone for a private tour, but it was the only way we could visit Split while we were staying in Dubrovnik. This turned out to be a really good decision.

Very well organised. The car was comfortable and impeccably clean and cool. Lots of really interesting information and history on our journey. In Split we were introduced to a local guide for a walking tour, which was excellent and tailored to us (e.g. drink stop on request, guide took our photos - little things make a big difference!). All the arrangements worked perfectly and everyone was very attentive and eager to ensure we had a good day. Split itself was very interesting with fascinating history. Less crowded than Dubrovnik too, seemed to be a bit off the beaten track but in a good way. Definitely recommend private tours with this company.

Dubrovnik day tours really made our 4 day trip to the area special. We were picked up from the airport at lunchtime by Ivo who took us on the half day wine tour to Bosnia.

The highlight for us was actually the family winery. Small but with really very good wines, especially for the price. A Decanter silver and bronze award supported this. The cheese was quite moreish too. We also liked the winery where we ate but just preferred the family one. ivo is a real font of information about everything Croatian and really made the trip. Goran drove us to and from Montenegro very safely. When we had a 90 minute wait at the border (new EU rules came in in April) he was able to tell us a lot about the history of the area in a clear and informative way. Kotor and Budva are both impressive sites, and different in their own way, but for us Dubrovnik steals the gold medal.

My Partner and I took the Peljesac Wine and Ston Oyster Tour. It was about 5-6 hours total. Our tour guide, Marijana, picked us up at our apartment in Lapad. Our first stop was Mali Ston.

We met Marijo who took us oyster picking on his boat. We ate fresh oysters and drank wine on the boat. It was great. We then stopped for a quick coffee in Ston and walked the small town. We then traveled up the Peljesac peninsula. We toured two wineries: Matusko and Milos. Our favorite was Milos because the tasting was very personal and the wines were fantastic. Make sure to also try their olive oil. This trip was simply one of the best things we did in Dubrovnik and we highly recommend it.

We used Dubrovnik Day Tours to organise day trips to Sarajevo and Split, as well as a tour of 3 wineries on the peninsula near Ston.

We chose this company based on excellent reviews and I have to say, we weren't disappointed! Our drivers/guides picked us up promptly, spoke excellent english and navigated some tricky routes very well. Special mention to Josko for doing a 12 hour round trip to Sarajevo. This trip was a particular highlight. Stunning scenery en route and a very interesting city. When we inevitably return to Croatia we will use this company again!
