This tour offers you a chance to visit 2 countries in one day and learn about their distinct cultures, geography and customs.
THIS TOUR IS 100% different than our Mostar and Herzegovina discovery tour – different sights, and different cultures so guests can easily book this tour and the Mostar tour and have two unique experiences.
The tour starts from Dubrovnik and after only 15 min drive we arrive at Bosnian border where we cross and drive through the Serbian part of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Republika Srpska). The first stop is the town of Trebinje, where we will first visit Gracanica Hill which has panoramic views of the whole Trebisnjica river valley and the Orthodox monastery of Hercegovacka Gracanica.
Upon descending down into the town of Trebinje we will pass through the old Turkish and 19.ct Austrian center of the town and give our guests short free time to browse through Trebinje’s everyday farmers’ market.
After Trebinje we continue to the Bosnia-Montenegro border and cross into Montenegro at Grab crossing following the trail down Orjen mountain massive to sea-level and the Bay of Kotor.
The tour continues through the Bay of Kotor passing villages Bijela, Kamenari, Morinj, Risan, with photo stop at the medieval city of Perast (possible to visit the enchanting island of Our Lady of the Rocks- please advise us beforehand).. Upon arrival to Kotor, once an independent city-state, and from 14.ct under Venetian influence, you would have time to explore its narrow streets, sunny squares and churches followed by time for lunch (optional).
After lunch, the tour will continue through Vrmac tunnel and passing the town of Tivat (luxury yacht marina resort of Porto Montenegro) we will take a short scenic ferry ride across Kotor Bay (about 10-15 min) continuing to the Montenegro-Croatian border and back to Dubrovnik (our driver will take the best direction to Dubrovnik, depending on border crossings waiting time).

2 couples travelling together, great way to see both Bosnia and Montenegro. Would have been great if the weather had been better, very nice guide.
I guess in a day, you can’t see everything, but from what we could see on the tour, my family and I enjoyed the Bosnian and Montenegrin culture,
Ivo was our driver/tour guide, he is really very nice, knowledgable and very entertaining. Such a sweet guy that he even bought souvenirs to give us.
I looked for a day trip to cover both Bosnia and Montenegro that would hopefully mean not being stuck for hours at border crossings at the height of summer – I found this trip which seemed to suit our purpose perfectly!
